I love Novak Djokovic as a tenisplayer and also as a human, for his honestity, which makes him different from Nadal and Federer. For me it is a pleasure to see Novak Djokovic playing, even when he loses. Nadal also plays tennis brilliant, but his pleasure in fighting for winning a match is shadowed by his prowdness, which you can see in his eyes. Djokovic is far more natural in tennis as Nadal.

It is a problem with the valorization of Djokovic. In Mexico, a today tennis note from the ESPN network explains that Nadal is competing for obtaining the 13th championship in Roland Garros. There is nothing about Djokovic. In my experience, I have read similar news since 2013. Probably, Djokovic feels and thinks that he is not so much valorized as one of the best players of all time, and then he essays to promote him, and also, he probably exaggerates in his marketing of valorization because of the low information of the media, in this case, as it happens in Mexico.

If you want to win against Nadal, the Djokovic team will have to call Goran Ivanisivic to come to Roland Garros to fix his terrible first serve (I didn't see Goran there during this tournament). And then Marian Vadja must remind Djokovic, how before he had very consistent groundstrokes, it's not like now 5-10 punches are out, net and error, and too often give free points to opponents

Wow, new respect for Tsitsipas. That said, Djokovic clearly too good. It's 2nd nature to him at this point. Djokovic once again proves that you need to play the best tennis of your career on any given day to challenge him. I can't imagine what this does to opponents, mentally. At this level, I'm not sure of Nadal's chances. I remember the final of Australian Open 2019 (domination). Not with this drop shot he now seems to do at will on top of everything else. But I hope for an epic 5 setter tomorrow.

I'm a fan of both Stefanos and Novak but truly impressed by the way Stefanos dealt with the moment, the stage, the pressure and relentless (truly) hitting of everything he gave by Novak. Stefanos really showed true fighting spirit as he said but it may have been wrong shot making (not following his instincts and trying something new as Stefanos has said after this match) and not being 100% physically (which is needed against top players, especially the big three). Amazing shot making and saving of break points and eventually figuring things out during the match itself by Stefanos. Now that he knows how it's like on the big stage, he can go forth and work hard to reach Novak's level and win his maiden Grand Slam! There's many of us supporting you so do as and yourself proud next year!! ❤️

To me it was an uneventful semifinal. Novak would have won in three sets if he did not fool around in the third. He deserved more than one time violation. No idea what made him decide to play two extra sets, two extra hours... No disrespect to Tsitsipas, he was trying hard and did showcase a good fight, but still to me it felt like it was just a lucky break he caught in the 3rd and 4th set. Novak lost focus as if this was not a semifinal at a grand slam but some other regular tournament. At some point both were making such lame mistakes, I thought that with such a game, neither stands a chance with Rafa in the final. Because the moment Rafa smells weakness, he goes for blood. Here, experience beat ambition. Stefanos needs to get his emotions under control, because the technique and physique is there. Not sure about Novak in the final with this kind of level and attitude, but hopefully we are in for a better match).

@pukulu This is what he said in the press conference afterwards "Unfortunately towards the end of the match an injury that I had during my match in Rome came back. It was difficult to close the match in a fighting way, in a fighting spirit". And he has withdrawn from Paris masters as well as all tournaments leading up to that. You could see it clearly in that 5th set he was unable to run at some point, he was just letting semi decent hits by Novak go and he was using all arm on all his serves/shot barely any footwork

The final set is a meltdown for Tsitsi. Novak played smart drop shots.

He was just injured and didn't have stamina. Novak did make him run a lot with his drop shots.

Splendid game by Tsisipas.. reminded the other guy of the valour with which he USED to play against Federer a decade back. He totally brought this fake No1 to his knees

Djokovic is 100% taking undetectable drugs. He’s been getting away fo a long time but we think he must be checked.

I think if u ask me... Nole doesn't stand a chance against Rafa tomorrow cos Nole burned more energy today than necessary...he should have finished this off in straight sets but having gone unto 5 sets and Nadal having won in straight sets earlier than him coupled with neck pains of Nole....I expect an easy Nadal 4 sets win on Sunday
